One day before raya,
I received tons of raya wishes. I'm guessing everyone's eager for raya, so even people in the US decided to follow the Malaysian time.
One day before raya,
I had sahur with bread and nutella, my fav food in the whole wide world.
One day before raya,
I still haven't download ANY raya songs.
One day before raya,
I checked my mailbox twice which is unfortunately, still empty.
One day before raya,
I worked my ass out, 8am in the morning, to earn my own duit raya.
One day before raya,
my brain still haven't kicked in yet. It doesn't feel like raya when you're not with your family. All I'm worried about now is how am I gonna get to class tmrw at 8, when can I find the time to finish my hw and study fr the quiz, when am I gonna start doing the essay.
Don't get me wrong, I'm more than grateful and blessed with all I have now. I appreciate every single nikmat that is given. I smile. I'm just not in the mood for celebration. For now. But I'm looking forward to tonight's takbir.
Next raya, I'm gonna have fairylights in my house. Insyaallah.
