Observation, Assumptions, Opinions

Don't use this as a reliable source unless if we have the same thinking :)

From my internship in TNB so far, I have concluded that:
  1. pure engineering doesnt suit me.
  2. guys who work among themselves all the time are pretty sad.
  3. they refer to girls as bunga. they don't see bunga on site often.
  4. kalau bertiga, one will feel left out sometimes... sigh.
  5. senior women engineers are strict people.
  6. junior women engineers are fun people.
  7. im scared of heights if i stand on a freaking huge machinery.
  8. working people should always have their own mode of transportation.
  9. did people hated me when i was the PD? :(
  10. i'd like to have a guy as my boss, a nice one iA.
  11. i dont want my husband to have a woman as his working partner, if in a team takpe. i cnt be that understanding for long you know.
  12. so i guess my working partner must be a woman. (11 and 12 are if applicable)
  13. i dont wanna bring my work home.
  14. machines are scary shits! be careful.
  15. never stop learning, even in your career life.
  16. bosses are normal people
  17. it is important to like your coworkers.
  18. i should bring my phone charger everywhere i go.
  19. never marry a guy in the same office.
  20. solat time is indeed resting time :)

2nd day of work

I really really wonder if this is worth it. Really. Unpaid, penat, berhabuk etc. Okay I sound so annoying. But -- anyway, dad has his reasons for being so conventional and mum has her reasons for being, err, reasonable(?) in how the world works nowadays. Ecehh not like how to govern the world, more like the academic and working world. I have to be strong. I feel like there is no freaking way that I can be an excellent engineer. InsyaAllah, with tons of effort and hard work. But why? Why the hell should I put so much effort and at the end of the day be so worn out? I want to do something I enjoy. Something that benefits people (again back to me having to enjoy what I do). Also something that benefits me. I know, not everyone can get what they wish for, dream job, fancy cars, perfect husband, a huge house etc. So yeah, this engineer thing is gonna be like the first 10 years (max) of my career life. Then I'm gonna be a lecturer (possible?) or anything that I can be to be away from the dusty sites, cables, currents etc. and to earn a living. Don't say I mengada, not like that one, I just can't okay.

I wanna do something so much more with my life. Life is short. I gotta make it worth it. First for myself, then for all the people the I love. I also wanna do something like going to Palestine and help. Help the poor Malaysian children with insufficient food and books. Teach the youngsters about how there's more to life. Okay fine, tak layak lagi and tak cukup duit. Kena lah jadi engineer sekejap. Tu lah, professional degree punya pasal and now here I am. But I shouldn't be complaining much I'm sorry. I'm blessed to be in an excellent school, to meet many different kinds of people who taught me the winding roads of life, to have the opportunity to travel and see the world, and to get to study for free for the time being. Thank you Allah for the rezeki that I have.

p/s:
1) I have to admit I picked the wrong major for my passion. I listened to others and not myself. But that doesn't mean that they are less right. It's just me. Maybe I'm too young to understand, we'll see.
2) I kinda still wanna make electric cars like Myvi, which (almost) everyone drives. Won't that be cool?
